CENTRAL CANAL WALK & RIVER PROMENADE (wwd)
    The Central Canal walk extends throughout downtown. The canal ends with a beautiful, 17-
    foot waterfall where the canal empties into the White River. Also the River Promenade on the
    west bank of the White River is a half-mile long paved walkway. Its location along the White
    River offers great views of the river as well as the Indianapolis skyline.

   CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR MEMORIAL (wwd)
    The nation's only memorial honoring all recipients of the Medal of Honor, the United States'
    highest award for military valor. The memorial features glass panels etched with the names of
    the 3,410 Medal of Honor recipients, their branch of service and the locations of their heroic
    actions.

EITELJORG MUSEUM OF AMERICAN INDIANS & WESTERN ART (wwd)
    The Eiteljorg Museum is unique, one of two museums east of the Mississippi with both Native

    An independent, nonprofit membership organization that has worked to collect, preserve,

   INDIANAPOLIS MONUMENT CIRCLE (wwd)
    The Soldier's and Sailor's Monument at Monument Circle is also the home to restaurants,
     businesses, and a radio station.

   INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY (Tour)
    The Indianapolis Motor Speedway was built on 328 acres of farmland five miles northwest 
    of Indiana's capital city in the spring of 1909. Four turns, each banked at nine degrees and
    12 minutes and measuring exactly 440 yards from entrance to exit, were linked together by
    a pair of long straights and, at the north and south ends of the property, by a pair of short
    straights to form a rectangular-shaped 2 ˝ mile track as dictated by the confines of the 
    available land.

WHITE RIVER STATE PARK (wwd)
    Downtown in Indianapolis it is Indiana's 1st urban state park. Watch a movie at an 
    IMAX theater, visit the Eiteljorg Museum, White River Gardens & Indianapolis Zoo.
    Sport enthusiasts can stop by the new NCAA Hall of Champions, or the National 
    Institute for Fitness & Sport, see baseball at Victory Field or run along the canal.
